Wilbert Plastic Services has grown into the largest heavy gauge thermoforming company in the world over the past 35 years because of our single focus of providing our customers with low cost quality solutions. These solutions, which include newly engineered compounds, new extrusion technologies and new thermoforming techniques, add up to Wilbert Plastic Services' leadership in product transformations.

Thermoforming is the process of forming a thermoplastic sheet into a three-dimensional shape by heating it to render it soft and pliable, then applying different vacuum and pressure to make the sheet conform to the shape of a mold or die. WPS offers many additional post mold processes such as 5-axis trimming, assembly, bonding and painting to add value to the final product.

Our customers are looking for every opportunity to replace metal, wood, fiberglass and other traditional materials with plastic due to cost and weight savings. WPS is committed to the intensive levels of inter-company cooperation these transformations require. Our customers have come to trust our experience in engineering design, quality tooling, proper material selection, and quality production systems system to provide them with tested solutions before product launch.
